Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting secondary students across three campuses near Hutto, TX! This school-based position is open to both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and fully credentialed Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLPs), with a preference for experienced professionals but enthusiastic CFs are encouraged to apply.
You’ll provide dedicated speech and language support to a caseload of 50-60 students, fostering progress and independence through individualized therapy, collaboration, and advocacy within the school environment. Enjoy a supportive culture that values expertise and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP License or current SLP Intern License for Clinical Fellows
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred, but Clinical Fellows also considered
- Experience with secondary (middle and high school) student populations and school settings desired
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse caseload of 50-60 students
- Develop and implement individualized IEP speech and language goals
- Complete evaluations, progress reports, and all regulatory documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Provide support and guidance to students, teachers, and parents regarding speech and communication needs
- Travel between three campuses as required within the school week
Compensation & Benefits:
