Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students across grade levels from pre-kindergarten through high school and 18+ programs within a collaborative and resource-rich educational environment. Starting in August and extending through the end of May, you'll make a lasting difference by providing high-quality, onsite services to approximately 60 students per SLP, with campus assignments tailored to your interests and strengths.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Texas SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience in a school setting preferred, with a passion for student progress
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload spanning PK-12
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver tailored speech and language therapy
- Work onsite, partnering with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student communication and academic success
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute insights in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
- Serve 1-2 school sites based on your background and preference, with exposure to multiple educational environments
