Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements
• Solid background in curriculum design, lesson planning, and instructional delivery
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience teaching technology at the middle school level highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead 7th and 8th grade technology classes, tailoring instruction and project-based activities to grade level standards
• Design creative, standards-based curriculum that inspires digital literacy, problem-solving, and collaboration
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and ongoing support
• Collaborate with colleagues on technology integration across disciplines and school initiatives
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged and engaged
• Stay current with educational technology trends and incorporate innovative strategies
