Gen Ed Teacher - Lake Zurich, IL

This full-time, onsite contract position focuses on engaging students in technology education, supporting their growth, and fostering digital literacy in a supportive classroom community.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field required
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with relevant endorsement(s)
• Demonstrated experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and effective instruction
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to engage and motivate middle school learners

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned technology curriculum to 7th and 8th grade students
• Adapt instruction to meet a range of learning styles and individual student needs
• Collaborate with colleagues on curricular initiatives and cross-grade projects
• Maintain detailed records of student progress, assessments, and classroom participation
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administrators to support student achievement
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and responsible technology use

This is an onsite-only role, requiring presence at the school—no virtual/remote instruction available. The assignment runs from August 17th through May 27th, 2027, giving you the opportunity to see your students grow over the full academic year.
