This school-year-long assignment runs August 2026 through June 2027, with a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (35–37.5 hours weekly). Three enthusiastic educators are needed to serve K–7th grade resource caseloads, with specific roles for Kindergarten, Grades 1–2, and Grade 7 as resource teachers and case managers. Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility in Connecticut)
  • Previous experience with K–7th grade students preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and case management skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
  • Adaptability and eagerness for professional growth in a travel assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver individualized instructional plans for students with diverse learning needs
  • Manage caseloads as assigned (Kindergarten, Grade 1–2, and Grade 7)
  • Collaborate with general educators, related services, and families
  • Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
