Pharmacist in Lubbock, TX

A leading children’s hospital in Lubbock, TX, is seeking two skilled pharmacists to support their inpatient care team. This contract opportunity offers a rewarding role caring for pediatric patients in a dynamic hospital environment.

Start Date: Late July / Early August
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispensing and verifying medications for pediatric inpatients
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy
• Utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation
• Monitoring patient medication regimens and providing clinical guidance as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license is required
• Experience working with EPIC electronic health records
• Prior inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
