Desired Skills & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred, but enthusiastic monolingual applicants also encouraged.
• Illinois SLP licensure (PEL) or eligibility to obtain.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills.
• Commitment to in-person service delivery within school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and provide individualized therapy.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students’ unique needs.
• Collaborate with special educators, classroom teachers, and families.
• Serve a culturally diverse student population, advocating equity and inclusion.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and support staff training.
• Maintain consistent documentation, progress monitoring, and reporting.
• Attend meetings and participate in school events as required.
