This onsite, full-time contract position runs from August 17 to May 27, 2027, offering an opportunity to lead and inspire students through a pivotal year of their academic journey. Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate Math endorsement(s)
- Experience designing, planning, and delivering curriculum content for middle school learners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Dual language proficiency highly desirable for one position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction to 8th-grade Math students, following grade-level standards and objectives
- Develop lesson plans that foster understanding, critical thinking, and a love of math
- Assess student progress regularly and tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support each student’s growth
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings
