Job Description

This opportunity is based near Anoka, MN, and involves working onsite approximately 15 hours per week throughout the school year. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
- Previous experience in school-based environments preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and parents
- Knowledge of special education processes and relevant legal requirements
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
- Interpret evaluation results and communicate findings clearly to staff and families
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
- Provide direct counseling and support services to students, addressing a range of behavioral and emotional challenges
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams to support special education and 504 planning
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with state and district policies
This contract position begins in late August and continues through early June, offering consistent weekday hours in a professional, collegial school setting. While onsite presence is strongly preferred, candidates with relevant credentials as a School Social Worker may also be considered.
