Step into a meaningful role supporting students in a dynamic educational setting as a School Psychologist. This opportunity is based near Anoka, MN, and involves working onsite approximately 15 hours per week throughout the school year. Your expertise will help foster a positive, inclusive school environment and provide crucial support to students, families, and staff.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
  • Previous experience in school-based environments preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and parents
  • Knowledge of special education processes and relevant legal requirements
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
  • Interpret evaluation results and communicate findings clearly to staff and families
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Provide direct counseling and support services to students, addressing a range of behavioral and emotional challenges
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams to support special education and 504 planning
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with state and district policies

This contract position begins in late August and continues through early June, offering consistent weekday hours in a professional, collegial school setting. While onsite presence is strongly preferred, candidates with relevant credentials as a School Social Worker may also be considered.
