This full-time, school-based contract position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, running from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027. As an itinerant Physical Therapist, you’ll serve multiple campuses across the district, collaborating with a diverse team to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade.

Key Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Active Physical Therapist license from the Florida Department of Health
Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities (Pre-K–12)
Commitment to on-site services—remote/virtual options are not available
Flexibility to travel between assigned school sites
Must be able to meet time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and completion of documentation for JLA badge eligibility or transfer
Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments, design, and implement physical therapy interventions
Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and monitor individualized plans
Travel between assigned school campuses as needed to serve your caseload
Maintain accurate and timely documentation to comply with school and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to the student support team
