Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth across several dynamic educational settings in the Laurel, MD region. This role encompasses a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) from August 10th, 2026, through June 9th, 2027. With the potential to work at multiple school sites, you’ll gain broad experience while collaborating with passionate educators and families. Options exist for various elementary and middle school site combinations to fulfill a full-time work commitment, including an additional possible opening for a split high school caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Maryland (MD SLP License).
  • SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcomed (onsite only).
  • Experience or interest in school-based speech therapy practice.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with families.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
  • Deliver direct therapy services onsite at assigned school(s).
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation per federal, state, and school guidelines.
  • Consult regularly with staff and families about student progress and strategies for generalization of skills.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
