Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Arizona Special Education certificate required
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FPCC) required
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs is highly preferred
- Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- A commitment to fostering inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
- Design engaging and adaptive lesson plans in accordance with state standards and best practices
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including related service providers and support staff
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to maintain ongoing collaboration and support
- Track and document student progress, adapting instruction as needed
