Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Arizona Special Education certificate required
  • Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FPCC) required
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs is highly preferred
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff
  • Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to fostering inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
  • Design engaging and adaptive lesson plans in accordance with state standards and best practices
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including related service providers and support staff
  • Foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to maintain ongoing collaboration and support
  • Track and document student progress, adapting instruction as needed
