Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A per diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Nacogdoches, TX, seeking a professional with previous experience at a similar healthcare facility. This role offers the chance to provide essential pharmacy support in a fast-paced environment focused on excellent patient care and medication management.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours daily)
- Additional shifts Monday and Tuesday the following week, same hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and healthcare practitioners
- Provide clear, helpful information to patients regarding their medications and usage
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure patient satisfaction and safety
Qualifications:
- Current Texas Pharmacy Technician License
- Previous experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
- Prior experience with this healthcare organization is required
