This contract-to-hire position is available with both full-time and part-time options, offering flexibility as you make a difference at the elementary level. You’ll provide vital services, supporting communication skills for learners at North Elementary School and collaborating with dedicated educational teams.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to enthusiastic new graduates
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, student-focused approach
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and work effectively with diverse students

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs of students
  • Create and implement individualized therapy plans to help each student thrive
  • Document progress and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and administration to support student success
  • Offer direct intervention services and classroom-based support as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and federal requirements
