Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required.
- At least 2 years of experience as an SLPA, including a minimum of 6 months working in schools.
- Strong ability to manage and support a traditional student caseload, delivering direct speech-language services.
- Prepared to complete Florida school district fingerprinting requirements and related credentialing; previous prints through AHCA Clearinghouse may expedite the process.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively as part of an educational team.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language interventions to students from a range of age groups, supporting their academic and social success.
- Collaborate closely with a supervising SLP and school staff to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Track and document student progress while maintaining open communication with teachers and parents.
- Commit to working on-site, engaging with students and staff face-to-face, and potentially serving at a single school location.
- Participate in required training and orientation dates, ensuring compliance with district policies and procedures.
