NOVON Consulting is partnering with a well-established Minnesota construction company to find an Assistant Controller. Full Time. Onsite. M-F

Daily Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Prepare and review journal entries
\n
• Assist with month-end close processes
\n
• Conduct reconciliations of accounts
\n
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
\n
• Generate financial statements and reports
\n

\n

Required Skills:

\n

\n
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
\n
• Experience in public accounting
\n
• Ability to perform reconciliations
\n
• Proficiency in month-end close processes
\n
• CPA certification (prefferd)
\n

\n

Nice to Have Skills:

\n

\n
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
\n
• Knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
\n
• Ability to develop and implement strategies
\n

Technical Skills:

• Accounts Receivable
\n
• Accounts Payable

• Internal Control
\n

Salary and Benefits:

\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $85,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.
