St. Joseph’s Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Midwife Supervisor to join our outstanding OB/GYN team in Syracuse, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to provide support to a team of full-scope midwives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment alongside OB/GYN physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, diabetic educators, and ancillary staff.
\nSt. Joseph’s Health OB/GYN program delivers approximately 1,700 babies annually, with our midwifery team and PCC OB/GYN practices accounting for approximately 750 births each year. Midwives provide comprehensive care to low- and moderate-risk obstetric patients, including prenatal care, labor and delivery management, postpartum care, and gynecologic services within their scope of practice.
\nPosition Details:

- Supervise a team of full-scope midwives caring for low- and moderate-risk obstetric patients \n
- Deliver gynecologic services including wellness exams, contraceptive counseling, and family planning \n
- Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians and interdisciplinary care teams \n
- Manage patient care throughout the prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum continuum \n
- Perform FERN testing \n
- Opportunity to first-assist in C-sections (RNFA certification required) \n
- Circumcisions are optional but preferred \n

Qualifications:

- Board Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) \n
- Current New York State license required \n
- DEA certification required \n
- BLS certification required \n
- NRP certification required \n
- EFM-C certification required \n
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills \n
Compensation:
\n- \n
- Competitive salary range of $139,307 - $150,583 annually \n
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality incentives, extra shift incentives, or other forms of compensation as applicable \n
