As part of our continued growth in Western Colorado, the Cardiology team is excited to expand into Fruita, CO, just 15 minutes from Grand Junction. A new multispecialty medical office building will break ground in August 2026, with an anticipated opening in May 2027. The clinic will primarily house Primary Care services while also offering Cardiology, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic care, creating a collaborative, patient-centered environment and expanding access to care for the rapidly growing community.

About this role:

\n

In this role, you will join a rapidly growing cardiology program that includes 6 General Cardiologists, 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 3 Electrophysiologists, and 14 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). While the team is primarily based in Grand Junction, you will benefit from a highly collaborative environment with access to these experienced providers for ongoing support, mentorship, and clinical collaboration.

  • This position includes a?$30,000?sign-on bonus, up to $20,000?in relocation assistance, and?$75,000?in student loan repayment when applicable
  • \n
  • You would work 5 days per week Mon-Fri with no call or weekends. Four 10 hour shifts per week can also be considered
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • This is an outpatient only position in which you will have the support of a dedicated medical assistant along with a shared RN and operational team with Primary Care
  • \n
  • The opportunity to do inpatient work and practice with the larger team at the Grand Junction location on occasion can be considered
  • \n
\n

  • Intermountain Health is a nonprofit healthcare system, and St. Marys Hospital in Grand Junction is a Level II Trauma Center with 346 beds and a large referral area.

Compensation:

  • Annual Base Salary: $625,000.00
    \n wRVU Bonus: $67.00 per wRVU over 9,410 annually (paid out quarterly)
  • \n
  • Quality Incentive: $25,000.00

What youll bring:

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • ABMS board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • BLS certification and DEA
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
  • \n
