Production Test Technician

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Production Test Technician to join our production and field service team. In this role, you will set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. You'll work at both the sub-assembly and system level, diagnosing issues down to the component level on analog and digital assemblies, and preparing clear technical reports summarizing your findings and recommended solutions.

What You'll Do

• Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies at the sub-assembly and system level
• Troubleshoot rejected analog and digital assemblies down to the component level, including production and field service returns
• Interpret schematics, blueprints, and drawings to perform modifications, rework, and general assembly/disassembly using basic hand tools
• Follow Test Process Instructions (TPIs) and help develop test specifications and procedures as needed
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommended solutions
• Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of manufacturing electronic test technician experience
• Demonstrated, detailed root cause analysis / troubleshooting skills
• Ability to evaluate and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical instruments
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Comfortable working with basic hand tools for assembly/disassembly
• Ability to follow established procedures independently, while recognizing when a situation requires deviation or escalation

Schedule & Pay

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• $27/hour, depending on experience
• Overtime and weekend availability required as needed
