Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students and staff as a School Psychologist for the 2026 fall semester. In this dynamic role, you will make a direct impact by covering two maternity leaves, working onsite alongside a dedicated team. Your expertise in evaluation, consultation, and targeted student support will be vital in facilitating positive outcomes and promoting a nurturing learning environment.

Role Highlights:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services, including student assessments and direct interventions.
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of IEP goals using Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP).
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure effective support for students’ social, emotional, and academic needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state educational statutes, codes, and regulations.
  • Deliver culturally responsive and evidence-based practices within a school setting.
  • Serve as a valued consultant to school teams during eligibility and re-evaluation processes.

Ideal Background & Requirements:

  • Valid, active Minnesota School Psychologist license/certification required.
  • Demonstrated experience in IEP development and PBSPs grounded in FBAs.
  • Strong understanding and application of educational laws and special education regulations.
  • Proven ability to build positive, cooperative relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary teamwork and student-centered planning.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional growth.

This position runs from late August through winter break (August 31–December 18, 2026), offering full-time, onsite hours in a collaborative school environment.
