Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support student communication growth and supervise a dedicated team of SLPAs in a dynamic educational environment along the Southeast Texas Coast. This is a full-time, contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a meaningful opportunity to make a substantial impact within a collaborative, student-centered district. While onsite service is strongly preferred, highly qualified virtual/VOCO candidates will be considered; please specify your suitability for onsite or virtual work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee, mentor, and provide guidance to district Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
  • Carry out comprehensive therapy, assessment, and documentation for a varied student caseload spanning elementary to secondary ages
  • Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to foster effective communication programs
  • Utilize the Frontline/E-Sped Platform to maintain compliant, up-to-date records and contribute to IEP processes
  • Support the district’s mission by contributing professionally in team meetings and consultations

Qualifications and preferred experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Texas SLP license in good standing
  • Up-to-date Texas fingerprinting in compliance with state credentialing standards (or willingness to complete promptly)
  • Strong expertise in school-based SLP practices, with previous supervisory or mentoring experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Frontline/E-Sped platform highly advantageous
  • Flexibility for onsite delivery, or clear verbal/technological fluency for virtual delivery if applying for remote option
