Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico state SLP license
- NMPED Teacher Certification required
- Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and experienced SLPs (CCCs)
- Understanding of school-based speech-language pathology, particularly in social communication
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with social communication needs
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to tailor plans and strategies supporting students’ social and academic development
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state requirements
- Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the broader educational framework
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to shape individual education plans
