Retail Staff Pharmacist - Owatonna, MN

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a pharmacist role located in Waseca, MN, supporting a specialty pharmacy setting with a focus on long-term care pharmacy duties. This contract assignment offers a duration of 13+ weeks with part-time hours ranging from 20 to 30 hours per week.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Some weekend shifts may be required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform long-term care pharmacy duties in compliance with established protocols
• Manage medication therapies and ensure accuracy of prescription processing
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Maintain documentation and adhere to regulatory standards
• Provide immunizations and patient counseling where appropriate

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with a PharmD degree preferred
• Immunization certification required
• CPR certification preferred
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification is a plus
• Experience in retail and specialty pharmacy environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills
