• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Florida SLP license or eligibility to obtain
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY applicants welcome
• Experience in a school environment is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver engaging therapy sessions for students with a variety of communication needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and assessment results
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate communication goals into academic settings
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing input on student progress and recommended supports
• Educate staff and families about speech and language disorders and effective intervention strategies
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in school-based speech therapy

Available assignments include a position at Coral Springs Charter School offering four days per week (32 hours), and an opening at Renaissance Charter School at Plantation for five days per week (40 hours).
