Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLP - CCC certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, parents, and team members
- Comfort working with students in diverse age groups and developmental stages
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for students with communication and language challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and update IEPs regularly
- Offer guidance and support during IEP meetings and consultations
- Use evidence-based strategies and adaptive tools to maximize communication growth
