Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, variable shifts may be required to accommodate surgical cases.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Previous Operating Room (OR) nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency with standard OR protocols, sterile technique, and surgical procedures
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team
- Current BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, high-stress environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and assist with set up for surgical procedures
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and identify changes in condition
- Utilize equipment and supplies appropriately in compliance with best practices and regulatory standards
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in patient records
