Job Description
Inspire the next generation as a full-time 7th & 8th Grade Technology Teacher at a vibrant middle school near Round Lake, IL. This contract opportunity runs from August 17 through May 27, 2027, and calls for a passionate educator eager to nurture students’ interest in technology through dynamic classroom experiences. You'll play a key role in fostering digital literacy, practical computer skills, and teamwork among middle schoolers, all within an engaging and collaborative onsite environment.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement(s)
- Experience developing and delivering curriculum
- Confidence with lesson planning and classroom instruction
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering technology-focused lessons aligned with 7th & 8th grade standards
- Guiding students through hands-on projects and interactive digital assignments
- Assessing student progress and providing targeted support where needed
