Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience within school settings preferred
- Familiarity with serving students with autism and a range of diverse communication needs considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with students, teachers, and families
- Organized, adaptable, and dedicated to fostering student growth
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in Pre-K through 5th-grade students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote speech, language, and communication growth
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success and integrate therapy into the classroom
- Maintain clear documentation and progress records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Provide coaching and strategies for families and educators to reinforce therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
