Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure/certification for Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred, though CFY candidates may be considered
  • Previous school-based experience or a strong interest in K-12 educational settings
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs across K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEPs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings and progress reports
  • Support students’ educational and social success by addressing speech and language barriers
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development
