As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a key role in transforming educational experiences for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), emotional disabilities, and developmental delays. With three immediate openings, take pride in helping individual students thrive by implementing personalized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), all while collaborating closely under the expertise of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

What You’ll Bring:

  • Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential accredited by BACB
  • Ability to successfully complete a fingerprint criminal history background check and Virginia Department of Social Services child abuse registry check
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Willingness to meet physical demands: lift up to 30 lbs and provide physical support to students as necessary
  • At least 1 year of direct RBT experience in a public school or pediatric setting (preferred)

What You’ll Do:

  • Implement individualized behavioral and academic protocols developed by the BCBA
  • Collect and document precise, real-time behavioral and skill-acquisition data using approved tracking tools
  • Employ de-escalation strategies and utilize district-approved crisis prevention techniques when needed
  • Work collaboratively with classroom and special education staff to support routines, environmental arrangements, and smooth student transitions
