Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related discipline
• Current Illinois Professional Educator License with applicable endorsements
• Proven experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom instruction
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for engaging and motivating middle school learners

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teach 8th grade science classes using innovative and standards-aligned instruction
• Create a supportive and enriching classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and critical thinking
• Develop and implement engaging science lessons that cater to a diverse range of student learning styles
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and adapt instruction as necessary to promote achievement
