School Psychologist in Dearborn, MI

Make a lasting impact as a School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year, supporting students in a collaborative and engaging educational environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services across 1–2 school buildings, working with a dedicated team to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and promote positive mental health. You’ll work side-by-side with educators and families, contributing beyond assessments to enrich the overall well-being and success of the student community.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Michigan School Psychologist Certification or willingness to quickly obtain MI licensure (travelers encouraged to apply)
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong skills in student assessment, intervention planning, and mental health support
• Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
• Flexible, proactive, and eager to contribute to the broader needs within the school buildings

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
• Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate student success
• Deliver direct services, including counseling, for students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
• Engage in multi-disciplinary teams to promote a positive, supportive school climate
• Contribute to broader programming and support beyond standard assessment tasks

Work Details:

• Full-time (37.5 hours per week; onsite presence required)
• Covering 1–2 buildings within a supportive district structure
