Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dedicated early learning environment. You’ll collaborate with passionate educators and families, providing essential speech and language services to children within a vibrant elementary school setting. This on-site position begins tentatively on August 24th and calls for a professional committed to fostering communicative growth in early childhood.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience delivering speech services in school or early childhood settings preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, IEP development, and service documentation
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in developmental preschool and early elementary programs
  • Conduct comprehensive Child Find Evaluations and participate in IEP meetings, including evaluation result discussions occurring before or after the regular student day
  • Offer itinerant services and potentially support Transition to Kindergarten initiatives, depending on caseload
  • Work a consistent full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week (8:45 am–4:15 pm, with student day from 9:10 am–4:00 pm)
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to best support student growth
  • Adapt quickly to evolving caseload needs and school schedules, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery
