Ideal candidates are dedicated professionals with experience or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). You'll work with diverse students, assessing, developing, and implementing intervention strategies to foster academic and social success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage students, families, and staff
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Deliver therapy in individual and group settings, fostering inclusive participation
- Serve as a resource, sharing expertise with staff and caregivers
