Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Concord, North Carolina

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum one year of recent Operating Room nursing experience.
• Proficient in perioperative nursing standards and protocols.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multi-disciplinary surgical teams.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, prioritize tasks, and respond quickly in fast-paced surgical settings.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
• Monitor patient status and manage documentation in accordance with established protocols.
• Administer medications and support anesthesia care as directed.
• Uphold strict infection control and patient safety standards at all times.
• Advocate for patient needs and provide emotional support to patients and their families.

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
