This contract opportunity is tailored for experienced Operating Room RNs who thrive in dynamic, high-acuity settings, offering exposure to a broad array of specialties and cutting-edge procedures.

Schedule & Hours:

  • 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Weekend rotation: Every 4th weekend (coverage may be through call or scheduled shifts)
  • Call requirement: Average 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule, 45-minute response time, with call times including nights and weekends
  • 75% holiday coverage expected

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license and current BLS
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent OR RN experience
  • Experience circulating in trauma, orthopedic trauma, total joints, spine, vascular, GYN, robotics, and other complex cases
  • CNOR certification preferred (not mandatory)
  • Strong adaptability, independent initiative, and the ability to accommodate emergent case requests
  • First-time travelers will not be considered

Role Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and manage a high volume of complex surgical procedures within a 19-suite operating department, including specialties such as bariatrics, advanced spine, ortho, and cardiac
  • Collaborate closely with charge nurses, clinical supervisors, and interdisciplinary OR staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care
  • Participate in department call rotation and demonstrate flexibility supporting perioperative needs during evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Maintain proficiency in both laparoscopic and open procedures; scrubbing skills for night contracts are beneficial
  • Support and mentor team members, contributing to a collaborative professional environment

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
