In this vibrant role as a Spanish teacher, you'll shape the educational experience for high school students, bringing language and culture into the classroom through engaging instruction. Qualifications:
- Possess an active Louisiana Spanish/Foreign Language Educator Certificate covering high school grade levels.
- Previous experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a motivating environment.
- Proficient in utilizing a range of instructional strategies and technologies.
- Enthusiastic communicator who can connect with diverse student populations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver daily Spanish lessons that spark student interest and growth.
- Develop curricula aligned with school and state standards.
- Assess student progress with a variety of formative and summative evaluations.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
- Collaborate with faculty and participate in school meetings or events as required.
