Cardiovascular Technologist I Cardiac Cath Lab I Variable Days Shift |Gainesville

This role involves delivering essential patient care within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and documenting both diagnostic and interventional procedures related to adult interventions, heart failure, and pulmonary services. The position also requires the operation of relevant medical equipment and software, along with maintaining professional interactions with both clients and colleagues.

Minimum Educational Background and Experience:

• An Associate's Degree from a recognized Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• Alternatively, an Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.

Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

• For candidates with an Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
• For those with an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, one must hold a registration in either Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), or Radiography (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The CI registration is preferred.
