Overview: The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. Qualifications: \n

Education: -

Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology

\n

OR Radiologic Technology

\n

OR Respiratory Therapy

\n

\n

In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years experience.

\n

AND Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

\n

OR - Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

\n

\n

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

\n

\n
• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
\n
• OR - FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
\n
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
\n
• OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)

\n
• BLS - ACLS
\n
\n
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
