This full-time, contract position carries the opportunity to collaborate in a team-oriented setting alongside twenty experienced school psychologists, fostering both professional growth and student success. As an onsite counselor, you'll play a vital part in empowering young learners and helping them navigate academic and personal challenges.

What we’re seeking:

Previous experience in a school counseling setting, with strong familiarity in conducting evaluations and assessments
Counseling certification and credentials recognized by the state of Arizona
Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and families
Adaptability and comfort working onsite and as part of a collaborative team
Commitment to professional development and open to receiving mentorship in your first year
Your key responsibilities:

Provide direct counseling services to a diverse student population
Conduct individual and group assessments and evaluations, delivering actionable recommendations in partnership with teachers and parents
Work closely with other school counselors and psychologists to coordinate care and share best practices
Attend and participate in monthly team meetings for case review, ongoing training, and peer support
Maintain confidential and up-to-date student records in compliance with district guidelines
Help create and implement supportive resources for students and staff as needs arise
Case load size will be determined to ensure manageable scope and impactful service
