Your primary responsibilities will center around two elementary schools (grades 1–5) and a middle school, with a strong focus on collaboration, consultation, and ongoing support.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing targeted consultation and support for students, families, and school teams
- Attending and participating in student-focused meetings, including 504 plan and reevaluation discussions
- Managing and supporting approximately six active 504 plans and six reevaluations
- Leading or assisting with undetermined initial evaluations as referrals arise
- Collaborating with educational staff to implement effective interventions and strategies
- Ensuring quality documentation and compliance with special education and 504 regulations
- Supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
Desired Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license
- Previous experience as a school psychologist, preferably in K–8 settings
- Strong understanding of 504 plans, special education evaluations, and best consultation practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable and comfortable managing evolving caseloads and priorities
