Job Description
Step into a vital role supporting students’ growth and well-being as a contracted School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. Providing specialized psychological services for early childhood - 8th grade learners, you’ll empower students at a formative stage—helping to shape their educational experience and personal development.
Your expertise will be instrumental in leading and participating in IEP meetings, conducting timely and thorough evaluations, and preparing detailed, actionable reports. You’ll work with a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering student achievement and inclusivity.
Job Details:
- Full time for 26/27 school year
- 8am-3:30pm
- EC - 8th grade
- Caseload: Completes ECAT evaluation and attends meetings and the other half is in Lake Villa being a regular school psychologist
Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Valid IL School Psychologist certification or pending application
- PEL required
- Recent experience working in school-based settings
- Proficiency in leading IEP processes, conducting assessments, and writing reports
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for initial and triennial evaluations
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, working closely with educational teams
- Develop, present, and maintain clear and concise written reports
- Provide consultative support and recommendations for staff and families
- Advocate for student needs while supporting a positive, inclusive school community
