Job Description
Step into an impactful contract role supporting students and staff within a vibrant Southeast Texas Coast school district. Seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year, this position primarily centers on the supervision of district SLPAs, while also encompassing core SLP responsibilities. Providers with on-site capability are strongly preferred, but experienced virtual SLPs will also be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Texas
- Familiarity with Frontline/E-Sped platform preferred
- Ability to complete fingerprinting for Texas credentialing promptly
- Previous supervisory experience over SLPA staff highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to high-standard support for K-12 learners
- Virtual SLPs must have demonstrated success providing remote speech services in school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support SLPAs in their daily functions to ensure excellent student care
- Provide direct speech and language services to students as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in intervention or assessment planning
- Manage caseload documentation and compliance using Frontline/E-Sped platform
- Contribute to a positive and proactive learning environment
Additional Details:
- Start date: August 3, 2026 | End date: May 28, 2027
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
