Make a lasting difference in students’ lives as a school psychologist working in a welcoming PreK-8 district located near Naperville, IL. This full-time, onsite contract position offers you the chance to provide meaningful support to students across all grade levels throughout the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff, delivering expertise and compassion to address the unique needs of each student.

What you’ll bring:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Previous experience as a school psychologist or within educational settings
  • Comfort and flexibility to serve any grade level (PreK-8)
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication, assessment, and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learning and social-emotional needs

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement intervention strategies
  • Support the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other educational plans
  • Deliver crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with all regulations

Contract runs from August 11, 2026, through May 24, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week. Caseload and grade levels will be determined upon placement, so adaptability and a student-centered approach are essential.
