Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of students across four dynamic school sites as an onsite BCBA/Autism Specialist for the 2026–2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers a rewarding school-based environment where you’ll collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive behavioral outcomes and support students with autism. Your expertise will be crucial in providing behavior consultation, completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), designing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and coaching staff on proven behavior strategies.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active BCBA certification (please include a clear screenshot with your application)
- Strongly preferred: background in a school-based BCBA/Autism role
- Demonstrated skill in conducting FBAs and developing BIPs
- Experience coaching and mentoring educators and paraprofessionals on behavioral supports
- History of success working in autism classrooms and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation for travel between multiple school sites
- Must be punctual with excellent communication regarding absences (illness protocol applies)
- Must pass drug screening and fingerprint/CORI/background checks
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultation and behavior analytic services across four school locations
- Conduct FBAs and develop targeted BIPs tailored to student needs
- Model and coach staff on proactive behavior strategies
- Support classroom teams in implementing autism-specific best practices
- Collaborate with school personnel to foster inclusive, supportive learning environments
