Job Description
Step into a vital role supporting students in an ASD setting while making a lasting impact during the 2026–2027 school year. Work onsite in a collaborative, education-focused environment, providing speech-language pathology services to a diverse caseload of 40–55 students. This contract position is ideal for passionate professionals eager to further their experience in the school setting while working alongside dedicated staff.
What you’ll bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience delivering school-based SLP services (preferred)
- In-depth understanding of ASD and relevant intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individual and group therapy for students identified with speech and language needs in an ASD classroom
- Collaborating with educational staff, parents, and related service providers to develop and implement IEPs
- Conducting evaluations and progress monitoring in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Maintaining documentation and preparing progress reports as required
- Participating in intervention meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
