Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Lead the pharmacy department with expertise and dedication in a dynamic role as Pharmacy Manager. This position offers flexibility with options for interim or permanent placement, providing a unique opportunity to influence pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Location: Ogdensburg, NY
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Sundays: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register and maintain status as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations to meet financial goals, including budget management, payroll, scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
  • Lead pharmacy support personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews.
  • Drive patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
  • Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, and side effects to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to uphold patient safety.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
  • Complete required continuing education and support staff training requirements.
  • Contribute to business development efforts within the pharmacy and broader community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid New York State Pharmacy License (required)
  • Immunization Certification with confidence in administering all vaccines (required)
  • Recent experience in a Pharmacy Manager role preferred
