Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Lead the pharmacy department with expertise and dedication in a dynamic role as Pharmacy Manager. Location: Ogdensburg, NY
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sundays: Closed
Key Responsibilities:
- Register and maintain status as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
- Oversee pharmacy operations to meet financial goals, including budget management, payroll, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
- Lead pharmacy support personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews.
- Drive patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
- Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, and side effects to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to uphold patient safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
- Complete required continuing education and support staff training requirements.
- Contribute to business development efforts within the pharmacy and broader community.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid New York State Pharmacy License (required)
- Immunization Certification with confidence in administering all vaccines (required)
- Recent experience in a Pharmacy Manager role preferred
