Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Amherst, MA

Bring your expertise in behavior analysis to a dynamic educational setting as a BCBA/Autism Specialist for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to positively influence students, teachers, and paraprofessionals across four schools, providing meaningful support for learners with autism.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and coach staff to adopt evidence-based strategies. Your experience in school-based settings and passion for helping students thrive will be valued as you deliver hands-on support, offer behavior consultation, and help classrooms manage and improve behavioral outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current, active BCBA certification (documentation required with application)
• Previous school-based BCBA or Autism Specialist experience preferred
• Background in conducting FBAs and developing comprehensive BIPs
• Skilled in coaching teachers and paraprofessionals on behavioral strategies
• Experience supporting autism programs or classrooms within an educational setting
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between four local school sites

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct behavior consultation and support across multiple school locations
• Complete FBAs and create effective, individualized BIPs
• Offer classroom-based modeling, coaching, and real-time feedback to educators and support staff
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers for comprehensive student support
• Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and professional learning communities as needed
• Maintain clear communication regarding absences and schedule changes
