Job Description

We are seeking a skilled *Licensed Master Plumber* to serve as a *Commercial Plumbing Foreman* on projects throughout Greater Portland and Southern Maine. The ideal candidate has experience leading commercial field operations and supervising a crew of *2–6 plumbers and helpers*.\n

\nThis role coordinates daily jobsite activities, maintains productivity and quality, ensures compliance with Maine plumbing codes, and delivers projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.\n
\n
\n*Essential Responsibilities*\n
\n
\n* Lead a crew of 2–6 plumbing helpers and apprentices.\n
\n* Plan and coordinate daily commercial plumbing installation.\n
\n* Read and interpret drawings, specifications, BIM layouts, and schedules.\n
\n* Install and oversee domestic water, sanitary/storm drainage, gas, hydronic, and specialty plumbing systems.\n
\n* Coordinate with contractors, project managers, other trades, and inspectors.\n
\n* Manage labor, equipment, materials, and workflow to maintain schedules.\n
\n* Lead safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.\n
\n* Ensure compliance with Maine plumbing code and project specifications.\n
\n* Maintain daily reports, labor tracking, and production records.\n
\n* Mentor apprentices and participate in planning, scheduling, and coordination meetings.\n

\n*Required*\n
\n
\n* Current *Maine Master Plumber License*\n
\n* 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience\n
\n* Experience leading crews of 2–6 field personnel\n
\n* Strong blueprint and specification reading skills\n
\n* Knowledge of commercial construction methods and sequencing\n
\n* Strong leadership and communication skills\n
\n* Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record\n
\n* Ability to work on active construction sites and lift 50+ pounds\n
\n

\n* Experience with schools, healthcare, manufacturing, municipal, or large commercial projects\n
\n* OSHA 30 certification\n
\n* BIM/VDC coordination experience\n
\n* Medical gas certification\n
\n* Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software\n
\n
