Position Details:

\n

Join Mercy's NWA Infusion team, providing specialized outpatient infusion and chemotherapy care in a collaborative, patient-centered clinic environment. This role supports oncology patients requiring complex therapies, with a 4x9 schedule and opportunities to work alongside a growing team focused on high-quality care. Ideal candidates bring infusion or transferrable acute care experience and a commitment to safety, education, and compassionate service.

Minimum Qualifications:

\n

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

\n

Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure. Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements

\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

Certification(s):
\n NOTE: one or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • \n
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • \n
  • PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
  • \n
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
  • \n
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
  • \n
  • IV Certification within 1 year of hire
  • \n
  • Other unit-specific certifications as required.
  • \n
\n

Physical Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • \n
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
  • \n
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
  • \n
